Ashton Memorial and Lancaster Brewery

As this years wedding season begins next month I thought it would be a good idea to reflect on a few lovely weddings from last year. The wedding of Megan and Grant at Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park and Lancaster Brewery is a perfect place to start, not least because I enjoy a good ale, but I have had a few more enquiries about this venue recently so I thought I would share.

If you would like to know more about these lovely venues I have left some links below.

P.S. thank you for the fish and chips Megan - it was lovely :)

Take care

Lee

Bolton School Wedding

Bolton School is a magnificent venue and I had the pleasure of photographing Natalie and Aaron this Summer at what some describe as 'The Hogwarts of Bolton'. To tell the truth, I have been to the set of Harry Potter, and the Great Hall is actually smaller than the Great Hall of Bolton School! Anyway, enough Harry Potter references, here is a small selection of Natalie and Aaron's lovely wedding day:

A blast from the past..

This little photo film was put together during my first year of wedding photography. It has a lot of significance to me, as it was my first real step into storytelling wedding photography.

My approach to weddings hasn't really changed much since; I probably shoot a lot more colour, and perhaps a little closer to the action than I used to. For those of you that know a little bit about camera lenses, I used a 50mm and a 24mm focal length when I first started out. Nowadays, I tend to lean towards 35mm and 85mm, also at times using 24mm, all prime lenses of course, which means I have to zoom with my feet!

Anyway, enough waffle from me, here is the film - best with sound on.

Take care - Lee
